warm up:

What do you see in the picture? Can you talk about the picture? You need to speak in complete sentences.

What is the title‘s meaning ?

What are four seasons in the year?

What you always do in these four seasons? 

Read aloud:

純聽:老師先撥放一次cd,學生將課本蓋起來(訓練聽力)。

Listen and read:學生打開課本,學生大聲跟讀句子,老師將問一些問題(跟故事的內容相關)。

Activity one:通電

   ”季節”這4個單字時,所有學生需要將雙手舉起 

   (做通電的動作)..

      Activity two:剪刀石頭布

   ,將學生分成2組,一次派一個同學,2個互相猜拳,

  Activity three:轟炸機

   (key words)(favorite,warm,cool,cold,hot),每個學生要念一個單字,當學生剛好念到key words時,則爆炸,計滿2點的學生要接受小懲罰。

3聽讀說   上台還是會緊張都快 語無倫次了   先開始看圖片 

在問孩子看到?   在帶入單字(可有教具 )  聽cd念課文  玩遊戲

Warm up

What do you see in the picture? You can talk about colors, people , or anything you want.(Guided question)

故事封面看到了什麼?每個人都要說。

Read aloud the Title. Then talk about “what’s your favorite season”with your partner in chinese. (team work)(free question)

老師帶讀標題並解釋後,學生分組用中文分享最喜歡的季節並說出為什麼。

Ask each team “what’s your favorite season”(answer by chinese) then teacher writes down the words of four seasons in English.

學生用中文分享最喜歡的那季節時,同時老師寫上該季節的英文。

Contact

 (Activity time) (Mime stories) Teacher does movement and let the students

guess which season it is.

寫上後,老師簡短地表演季節的特色讓學生猜那英文是什麼季節,以此揭露四季的意思。

 (Listen) Teacher read the dialog and students have to high light words that you don’t know.

播放故事對話,學生邊聽邊看邊畫出不懂意思的英文字。

(Listen and repeat) dialog. (Point the word in the same time.)

老師唸一句學生唸一句,同時並用手指字。

Part of four characters(原住民/恐龍/boy/girls) to each group then practice the conversation by featurs movement.

將各組分為四個角色並且要為該角色想個特色動作或聲音來練習對話。例如扮演原住民的,輪到時就先大聲地嗚嗚嗚再講台詞。

Follow the step7 in turn.

Discussion time:

when the boy said “I like spring”,why the man brought them to hot spring? (Guided question)

What’s different between cool and cold? (Guided question)

In the end, why the dinosour said “yummy”to the kiwis? (Guided question)

1.1老師念一次對話

1.2老師帶學生複誦一次對話

1.3老師請四組輪流扮演角色,直到四個角色都被輪過。

   第一次只有念、第二次要演戲、第三次加入道具演戲、第四次練習不帶課本練習對話+演戲。

1.4老師問學生對話的內容,詢問四個季節的特色。

翰林版第八冊 Unit1 課文教學流程:

1.     Look at the pictures and describe the picture in a complete sentence.

    Control question: What are these? They are sheep.

   Guide question: How is the weather? It’s hot. It’s cold.

   Free question: What do you see? I see sky , hot air baloon , ……

 

2.     Listen first.

3.     After listening , I can ask students

Control question: What’s the season in the story? Where are they?

Guide question: How many people in the story?

Free question: What do you remember after listening?

4.     I read the story and students repeat after me.

I can repeat some words they don’t read clearly.

5.     Bomb game:

I choose a word in my mind and let each student read a sentence.

The person who reads the word in my mind is loser.

Vocabulary: Spring, summer, fall, winter, hot, cool, cold, warm, sick, kiwi.

(Activity time) (Mime stories) Teacher does movement and let the students guess which word it is.

 (Listen) Teacher read the dialog.

(Listen and repeat)Students read the dialog. (Point the word in the same time.)

Practice movements. Show them out while you hear the key words.

Make four teams. One team does one movement.

Read the dialog out again. All of you should do four movements, when you read it.

Use the pictures of textbook, ask student to number them, and tell a story.

Draw about your favorite season, or your story. Hand it in at next class.

3/11(六)故事教學設計流程

First time, teacher reads the story, students just look the book and listen.

Second time, repeat after teacher.

Divide into four groups to play the story : dinosaur, boys, girl, and the man.

Each group will play all charaters.

When teacher says change, each group will change their charater until we end the story.

2.    What are they doing in the picture?

 

Read aloud

Close your book and listen to the CD player first.(only listen to half a story ,  stop at sentence 8 “OK. Let’s go to a cool place.”)

Tell me what do you listen?(If students can’t describe it , teacher can guide them with questions. For examples:1.what’s the weather in the story? 2.why do they go to a cool place?)

Then I want everyone to guess what happen to them , when they go to the cool place?

Now you can open your book. Let’s take a look at what happen together. I hope everyone can open your mouth to read aloud after me.

Discussion :1.What does the spring mean? 2. What does the kiwis mean? 3.What weather is it now? 4.What’s your favorite season? Why?

 Read by yourself.

 Teacher teach vocabularies with flash cards.

 Role play . Dividing students into several groups. Giving them about 5-  10minutes to practice. Then everyone should perform a role of the story with dialogue, movement and facial expression .

Guide question: How many sheep are there?

Free question: What do you see?

Listen carefully.

After listening , I can ask students

Control question: What’s the season in the story?

Guide question: How many animals are there in the story?

Free question: What do you listen in the story?

I read the story and students repeat after me.

I can repeat some words they don’t read exactly.

Review the story with reading activity.

Divide students into four groups.

I give each group a word card of four seasons.

I choose a word card of four seasons.

The group with the card read the sentences.

Teach vocabulary about four season: spring, summer, fall, winter

Teach season words

First, phonics the word.

Second, repeat after me.

Third, explain the meaning and talk about the characteristic of season, for example: which season can you swim? Students answer: summer.

Write down four season

First, Teacher draws four pictures about seasonon the blackboard.

Second, when teacher says the characterist of season, students need to write down the correct words in the blank.
